Among the ten artists whose works are on display in the rooms and common areas, some enjoy an international career like South African Berni Searle whose photograph from the series “Seeking Refuge” adorns the reception area; or Jonathan Callan whose drawings on photographs feature in several of the rooms.
A Marseille artist particularly represented through his graphic production: Arnaud Vasseux, born in 1969, is known for his plastic art working with materials that go through several stages. He delves into their very nature, producing works that combine fragility, instability and resistance.
Constance Sorel is a young artist whose works were exhibited in 2017 at the Salon de Montrouge. Her “Ciel de traine” series, composed of 20 different A4 format laser prints of the same design, a Paris sky, delves into the notion of memory, both timeless and imprecise.
