Le Grand Potager is the place where the fruits and vegetables which directly supply the kitchens of the Domaine are organically cultivated. There is also a wide variety of edible and ornamental flowers to decorate the plates and the rooms of our guests.
The diversity of our vegetable cultures as well as the architecture and elements inspired by permaculture make it a pleasant place to visit as it is instructive, since an experimental and educational dimension has been developed there by The Ivory Foundation.
Through a path that presents practices from permaculture, agro-ecology and agroforestry, the goal is to raise awareness and initiate young visitors to ecological gardening and environmental protection.
Follow the development of our plants, understand the role of trees, water and insects. Familiarize yourself with the different species of vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers. Learn about composting techniques and the different stages of waste decomposition. Understand the functioning of ecosystems and the consequences of human actions on nature.
